Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Property Law Specialist to lead the real estate legal operations from Rustenburg. This senior role requires deep expertise in property law, conveyancing, and commercial real estate transactions, handling acquisition, development, leasing, and disposal across a substantial portfolio.

You will collaborate with the executive team, finance, and external stakeholders to ensure precise, efficient handling of property matters while supporting growth initiatives

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court with Property Law specialization.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in property law and conveyancing.
• Proven track record in managing complex commercial property transactions.
• In-depth knowledge of South African property legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute all aspects of property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and developments.
• Oversee the conveyancing process from instruction to registration of deeds.
• Provide expert legal advice on property zoning, land use, environmental law, and building regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate property-related contracts and agreements.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential property acquisitions and developments.
• Manage property disputes and litigation, collaborating with external counsel when necessary.
