Placements24 in Rustenburg is seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to support a busy legal team. You will manage administrative and procedural aspects of real estate transactions, including conveyancing and property law matters, while liaising with clients and lenders.

You should have a recognized paralegal qualification with at least four years in a real estate role, and a solid grasp of South African property law to ensure compliant, efficient deal closures.

Qualifications

• Recognized paralegal qualification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of South African property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Proficiency in legal document management and standard office software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong client service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing property sale agreements and leases.
• Manage the conveyancing process from instruction to registration.
• Conduct title searches and prepare supporting documentation for property transactions.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, financial institutions, and other parties involved in property deals.
• Maintain organized property transaction files and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Schedule property inspections and related appointments.
