Placements24 is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join a Pretoria-based property law firm. You will manage residential and commercial transfers, draft essential documents, liaise with clients and institutions, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the conveyancing process.

The ideal candidate has an LLB, SA High Court Conveyancer admission, 5+ years of conveyancing experience, and strong organisational and drafting skills. Relocation to Pretoria is expected if not local.

Qualifications

• LLB degree required.
• Admission as Conveyancer of the High Court of SA essential.
• Minimum 5 years of conveyancing experience.
• Proven ability to handle high volume property transfers.
• Solid knowledge of SA Deeds Registries Act and related legislation.
• Excellent drafting skills for property documents.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in conveyancing software and legal databases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Pretoria area.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the conveyancing process for residential and commercial transfers.
• Draft and execute deeds of sale, bonds, and notarial deeds.
• Liaise with clients, agents, banks, and Deeds Registry.
• Ensure compliance with property legislation and conveyancing regulations.
• Perform due diligence on properties and documents.
• Attend to registrations of transfers and bonds.
• Provide advice on property transactions and related matters.
• Manage trust accounts and financial aspects of conveyancing.
• Maintain organized client files and records.
