Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with at least 6 years in property law and conveyancing.
• Proven ability to draft and register property-related documents.
• In-depth knowledge of the Deeds Registries Act and related law.
• Strong negotiation skills and client relationship management.
• Experience with commercial property transactions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle conveyancing transactions, including drafting and registering Deeds of Sale and bonds.
• Advise on commercial and residential property leasing, drafting and negotiating lease agreements.
• Manage property development projects from a legal perspective, including compliance and zoning issues.
• Provide legal counsel on property financing, sectional title schemes, and homeowners' associations.
• Represent clients in property-related disputes, including eviction and boundary disputes.
• Conduct due diligence on properties and advise on associated risks.
