Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Conveyancer in East London to manage the legal transfer of property ownership. You will liaise with buyers, sellers, lenders, and government authorities to ensure accurate and compliant conveyancing processes.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of conveyancing experience, strong knowledge of South African property law, and proficiency with conveyancing software. A commitment to service excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• A recognized qualification in Conveyancing or a related legal field.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Real Estate Conveyancer.
• In-depth knowledge of South African property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Proficiency in conveyancing software and legal document management systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and client service skills, with the ability to handle sensitive legal matters.

Responsabilités

• Manage the entire conveyancing process for property transactions, from initial instruction to final registration.
• Draft and review all necessary legal documentation, including sale agreements, transfer documents, and bond registrations.
• Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, attorneys, and financial institutions throughout the transaction.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and Deeds Office requirements.
• Oversee the financial aspects of the transfer, including the calculation and collection of transfer duties and fees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all conveyancing matters handled.
