About the Role

Our client, a leading SaaS provider, is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead critical software development initiatives. This role is entirely remote, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in the country while collaborating with a talented, geographically dispersed team. You will be instrumental in managing the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirement gathering and design through to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of agile methodologies, a proven ability to guide development teams, and a track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for multiple projects.
• Lead and mentor software development teams using Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk assessment, and budget management.
• Facilitate effective communication between development teams, product managers, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of software releases, meeting quality standards and business objectives.
• Manage project scope, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues that may arise during development.
• Drive process improvements within the SDLC to enhance efficiency, quality, and team collaboration.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear, concise reports to senior management.
• Champion best practices in software development and project management.
• Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful deployment and post-launch support.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 4 years focused on software development projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing the full SDLC and a strong understanding of Agile frameworks.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire software development teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
• Proficiency in understanding technical concepts and software architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working in a remote-first or distributed team environment.
