Wesbank in Johannesburg seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive strategic initiatives within the FirstRand Group. You will define project scope, develop detailed plans, and manage resources from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with governance and stakeholder expectations.

The role requires 5–7 years in a project environment, hands-on PowerCARD exposure, and proficiency in MS Office and project-tracking tools. A Diploma and CAPM/PRINCE2 credentials are preferred.

Formación

• Minimum qualification: Project Management Diploma or equivalent (CAPM/PRINCE2).
• Postgraduate degree in Project Management preferred.
• 3+ years in Payments/Merchant Acquiring.
• Hands-on with PowerCARD (HPS): configuration, workflows, or integration.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.
• Ability to manage scope, budget and timelines with stakeholder engagement.

Responsabilidades

• Initiate and manage project planning with defined scope and objectives.
• Manage resources (people, procurement, systems, time and budget) end-to-end.
• Build cross-functional relationships to improve delivery.
• Implement change management and ensure adoption.
• Monitor timelines and quality, report on status and budgets.
• Deliver projects in line with governance and audit requirements.
