Job summary

FirstRand Limited in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior Compliance Project Manager to coordinate people and processes and drive business change through structured project delivery within time, resource, budget and scope constraints for medium to large, highly complex initiatives.

The role requires a CAPM or PMP certification and at least 5 years of project leadership experience, with hands-on exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and a focus on compliance and payments domains.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing medium to complex projects impacting several systems and teams.
• Experience in an agile and waterfall environment.
• Compliance & Payments experience.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage the planning process, clearly defining scope, goals and objectives.
• Develop detailed plans outlining tasks, resources, timelines and deliverables.
• Manage project resources from initiation to end of lifecycle to deliver goals.
• Lead complex projects in a changing environment and motivate teams across levels.
• Ensure governance and quality, delivering expected outcomes.
• Oversee compliance Payments programs, conduct risk assessments and monitor activities.
• Advise on Visa, Mastercard, UPI PASA and SARB regulatory changes.
