Weir Minerals in Johannesburg is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery in a multi-disciplinary mining context. You will liaise with clients on technical and commercial matters, coordinate internal teams, and ensure projects meet scope, timelines and budgets.

The role requires a BSc/B Tech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and at least five years of PM experience, with strong ERP and MS Office skills. Onsite work with occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• BSc/B Tech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five years project management experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Manage the entire project lifecycle from internal hand-over to customer delivery, ensuring all deliverables meet client specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Technical and Commercial Engagement: Act as the primary liaison with clients on technical and commercial matters, ensuring clear communication and contract compliance.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate transport, commissioning, and technical support with internal product specialists, sales teams and regional branches.
• Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, conduct post-project negotiations and close-outs, and ensure adherence to HSE standards.
• Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to client sites or regional offices to support delivery.
