Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Electrical Engineer for our George-based team. You will drive electrical project delivery from planning to handover, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes with high quality. The role requires 5+ years in electrical project management, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Project/Primavera.

Qualifications

• B.Eng or B.Sc in Electrical Engineering; Pr.Eng registration advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management within electrical engineering.
• Experience managing projects from initiation to closure; strong focus on electrical systems.
• Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera; familiarity with electrical design tools.
• Solid understanding of contract administration and procurement processes.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all electrical engineering activities for assigned projects from conception to completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for electrical components.
• Coordinate with design teams to ensure electrical designs meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee site installations, ensuring safety, standards, and quality inspections.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers for clear communication and progress.
• Identify and mitigate project risks related to electrical systems and address challenges proactively.
