Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and expand our community services in Benoni. This hybrid role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, guiding a team to design, implement and evaluate programs that meet community needs.

You will manage budgets, build partnerships with funders, monitor impact, and mentor staff, delivering sustainable, high‑quality services committed to social impact and growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of program management experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Proven track record of managing budgets and teams.
• Strong understanding of community development principles and program evaluation methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in using project management software and remote collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the strategic planning, development, and implementation of community service programs.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and staff performance effectively.
