Placements24 is recruiting a proactive Program Development Officer to shape new initiatives for social impact in Richards Bay and the wider KwaZulu-Natal region. The role involves researching community needs, engaging stakeholders, and crafting proposals aligned with the NGO's mission.

You will design programs, secure funding through grants, and monitor outcomes while collaborating with diverse partners to empower communities and drive lasting change.

Qualifications

• Needs assessment and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for new programs.
• Research and stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in the non-profit sector.
• Develop detailed program proposals with objectives, activities, budgets, and evaluation frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal teams, community partners, and beneficiaries to ensure program relevance and effectiveness.
• Secure funding for new initiatives through grant writing and proposal development.
• Monitor the implementation and impact of newly developed programs, recommending improvements.
