Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Lead Production Systems Engineer in Gauteng to spearhead design, implementation, and optimization of advanced production systems. You will drive automation, robotics integration, and data-driven improvements to maximize throughput and minimize costs.
The role requires a Master's in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering with at least 7 years of progressive experience, including leadership.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years in industrial engineering with 3+ years in leadership in manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in production systems design, simulation, and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and implementation of advanced production systems and workflows.
- Oversee integration of automation, robotics into manufacturing processes.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
- Develop and manage capacity planning initiatives to meet demand.
- Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance across systems.
- Mentor and guide a team of industrial and production engineers.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering for reliability.
