Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing setting, preferably automotive.
• Demonstrated understanding of production processes and workflow management.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Experience with quality control procedures and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in reading production schedules and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of production operators on the assigned shift, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor production performance, identifying and addressing any deviations from planned output or quality standards.
• Ensure that all safety procedures are strictly followed, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Train and coach production staff on their roles, responsibilities, and best practices.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, address concerns, and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
• Oversee the efficient use of materials and equipment, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
• Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., lean manufacturing principles).
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality checks.
• Liaise with other departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
