Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in product development and mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor) and experience with FEA analysis.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire product development lifecycle from ideation through to commercialization.
• Design and develop new mechanical components and systems, creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Conduct design validation and testing, including performance, durability, and safety assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain and manufacturing, to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and implement innovative design solutions to meet market demands and customer needs.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports for product releases.
