Talent Candey is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer for a reputable battery distribution and energy solutions client in Johannesburg. You will coordinate local and international procurement across branches, ensure accurate purchasing processes, supplier communication, stock availability and compliance with procedures.

The role requires a diploma in procurement or related field and at least 7 years' experience in procurement/purchasing.

Formación

• Diploma or qualification in procurement or related field.
• 7+ years' experience in procurement, purchasing, stock administration or related.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
• ERP/inventory systems experience advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Independent, proactive and reliable with deadlines.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple branches.
• Attention to detail in pricing and costs.

Responsabilidades

• Local & International Procurement: review local PO approvals; check international supplier orders; send orders; follow up on ETAs.
• Stock Control & Interbranch Transfers: approve IBTs; manage stock journals; assist stocktakes and reconciliations.
• Forecasting & Reporting: prepare forecast vs actuals; extract sales/inventory reports; ensure data accuracy.
• Compliance & General Administration: maintain procurement docs; liaise with suppliers and branches; support Procurement Manager.
