Job summary

Talent Candey, a reputable Battery distribution and automotive group, seeks an experienced Internal Sales and Exports Consultant to helm the export portfolio from start to finish while supporting internal sales at our Johannesburg branch. The role requires a mature, proactive, analytical professional who can work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Matric or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 7+ years' sales experience with a proven track record.
• Minimum 5 years' practical export experience (non-negotiable).
• Experience handling export documentation, including SAD500, N1, N2 and SADC certificates.
• Strong internal sales and customer account management experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing and new customer accounts for the sale of company products.
• Coordinate and oversee all export orders and related administration.
• Prepare export invoices and ensure correct tax types and GL codes.
• Coordinate road, air and sea freight and liaise with freight providers.
• Maintain accurate export files for auditing and compliance.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations, orders and export documentation.
• Provide backup support for reception, administration and filing when required.
• Take ownership of the export portfolio and work with minimal supervision.
