Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex energy process systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and technical evaluations for new and existing projects.
• Optimize existing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance environmental performance.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, PFDs, and operational manuals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and project management, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and best practices in the energy sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in process engineering, with a significant focus on the energy sector .
• Proven experience in process design, simulation (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, UniSim), and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage) and their associated processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience with safety protocols and regulatory compliance in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with advanced process control strategies is a plus.
• Registered Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) or equivalent is highly desirable.
