Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and engineering of renewable energy projects, including solar photovoltaic (PV) farms, wind farms, and battery storage systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and resource analyses to determine project viability.
• Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and BoMs (Bills of Materials) for project execution.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee the procurement, installation, and commissioning phases of renewable energy projects.
• Ensure projects comply with all relevant national and international engineering standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, construction crews, and operations staff.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to facilitate project progress and address technical issues.
• Perform technical reviews and provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and implement innovative engineering solutions to optimize project performance and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent professional accreditation is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in engineering project management, with at least 5 years specifically focused on renewable energy projects (solar, wind).
• Proven experience in leading the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects from concept to commissioning.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, grid integration, and energy storage technologies.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD, ETAP) and project management tools.
