The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, 8+ years in refining or petrochem, and deep knowledge of unit operations, Aspen HYSYS, and thermodynamics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
- 8+ years in process engineering within refining or petrochemical sectors.
- Strong knowledge of unit operations, Aspen HYSYS, and thermodynamics.
- Experience in troubleshooting, debottlenecking and project management.
Responsibilities
- Analyze process performance data to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities in refining units.
- Develop and implement process improvement projects, including feasibility studies and detailed design.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for plant operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations in all process modifications.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams to achieve production targets.
- Mentor junior process engineers and share knowledge within the technical department.
