Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer for a Centurion-based chemical manufacturing facility. You will optimize and troubleshoot complex processes to boost efficiency, safety and product quality, analyzing data and implementing engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering with 4+ years' experience, knowledge of reaction engineering, thermodynamics and Aspen Plus, and strong problem-solving and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years in process engineering in chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and mass transfer.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize chemical processes to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
• Develop and implement new process technologies and equipment modifications.
• Perform root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor process performance using data analysis and statistical tools.
• Collaborate with R&D on scale-up and validation.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
