Job summary

Vodacom in Century City, Cape Town is seeking a Senior Specialist Predictive Analytics to support Customer Operations with strategic analysis of key indicators and demand drivers. You will develop data models explaining shifts in demand for customer contacts, chats, and digital engagement, enabling leadership to drive decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in data science, strong Python/SQL, experience with AI capabilities, and hands-on work with Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL).

Qualifications

Matric is essential and a quantitative degree/diploma is required.
Experience with data manipulation using SQL and Python.
Proficiency in machine learning and multivariate techniques.
Hands-on with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL) and dashboards.

Responsibilities

Develop causal and predictive models to explain demand drivers.
Assess AI investment impact on service demand and CX.
Create dashboards and reports for data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to aggregate metrics across domains.
Deliver board-ready narratives on KPI movements and impacts.
