Job summary

Radiant Hospitality Company is opening a premium Mediterranean restaurant at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. We seek a polished Senior Restaurant Manager to run day‑to‑day floor operations, deputise for the General Manager and drive guest experience across dining room, bar and private dining.

The role is a pre‑opening appointment requiring hands‑on leadership, recruitment and training of FOH teams, and strong commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years’ experience as Restaurant Manager in premium venues.
• Proven ability to lead service from the floor during high‑volume service.
• Strong understanding of premium dining service standards.
• Fluent in English; right to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Lead service from the floor across dining room, bar and private dining, deputising for the General Manager.
• Monitor shift‑level sales, labour and cost performance against targets.
• Own and analyse the restaurant’s P&L on a regular basis and support corrective action.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of the front‑of‑house team pre‑opening.
• Assist in implementing SOPs, service sequences and readiness checklists ahead of opening.
