Job summary

Radiant Hospitality Company in Cape Town seeks a Senior Reservations Manager to own the reservations function for a new premium dining destination at the V&A Waterfront. You will shape booking policies, VIP handling, diary pacing and revenue, while recruiting and leading the reservations team to deliver exemplary guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years as Reservations Manager or similar in premium hospitality.
• Proven leadership of a reservations/front-office team.
• Fluent English with strong written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the reservations system, policies and diary management end to end.
• Optimise table utilisation and pacing to balance guest experience with revenue.
• Manage waitlists, cancellations and last‑minute requests efficiently.
• Maintain VIP and regular guest databases with personalised recognition.
• Liaise with concierges and partners for priority bookings.
• Recruit, train and lead the reservations and reception team.
• Set standards for phone, email and in‑person guest communication.
• Provide forecasts and reports to support planning and rostering.
• Coordinate with floor team on large parties and events.
• Understand P&L impact of reservations and optimise strategy.
