Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in substation engineering, especially HV environments.
• Proficiency in substation design software and simulation tools.
• In-depth knowledge of protection schemes, relay settings, and grid codes.
• Experience with project management principles and leading engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and development of high-voltage substation layouts and single-line diagrams.
• Specify and select major substation equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.
• Develop and review technical specifications, scope of work documents, and tender packages.
• Oversee construction and commissioning phases of substation projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Perform engineering calculations for load flow, short circuits, and protection coordination.
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for existing substation assets.
