Job summary

impact.com is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy and operate the platform-layer infrastructure at scale. You will own Kubernetes clusters, cloud-native components, and the networking that connects them, ensuring secure, reliable deployments.

You will translate requirements into production-grade infrastructure, contribute to the observability stack, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating closely with Cloud Operations to improve IaC modules and operational runbooks.

Responsibilities

• What You'll Do: lead the design, deployment and operation of platform-layer infrastructure including Kubernetes clusters and cloud-native components.
• Translate configuration data into production-grade deployments with security and high availability baked in by default.
• Own monitoring and operation of pub/sub systems and other messaging services.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical quality bar.
• Collaborate with Cloud Operations to reuse IaC modules and improve runbooks.
• Maintain uptime targets and drive high change-success rates.
