Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences, with a specialization in Petroleum Geology.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in oil and gas exploration geology.
• Proficiency in seismic interpretation software (e.g., Kingdom, Petrel) and geological modeling tools.
• Strong knowledge of structural geology, stratigraphy, and sedimentology relevant to hydrocarbon systems.
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex geological concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Interpret seismic, well log, and core data to define geological plays and identify drilling targets.
• Conduct basin analysis and regional geological studies to assess exploration potential.
• Develop and present geological models and risk assessments for potential exploration projects.
• Collaborate with geophysicists to integrate geological and geophysical data for prospect evaluation.
• Stay abreast of new geological concepts, technologies, and industry best practices in exploration.
