Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of payroll management experience in a large organization.
• Extensive knowledge of SA payroll laws, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Experience with VIP Payroll or Sage and strong Excel skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly payroll for all employees accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, UIF and PAYE.
• Administer employee benefits and statutory deductions.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to SARS and others.
• Maintain up-to-date payroll records and liaise with HR on hires/terminations.
