Job summary

• Relevant qualification in Pattern Making, Fashion Design, or Clothing Technology.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Pattern Maker.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, grading, and fit.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical production deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grade patterns from design sketches, specifications, or existing garments.
• Create and modify manual patterns.
• Conduct fittings and adjust patterns based on fit sessions and feedback.
• Ensure patterns meet quality, sizing, and production standards.
• Liaise with designers, garment technologists, and production teams to resolve fit and construction issues.
• Maintain accurate pattern records and version control.
• Optimise fabric utilisation through efficient marker making.
• Mentor and guide junior pattern makers, where applicable.
