Job summary

Clothing Junction in Durban North is seeking a talented Designer to join our Marketing team. You’ll create on-trend graphics for clothing ranges, translate fashion trends into commercial designs, and prepare artwork for production.

You’ll need a fashion design qualification, 3+ years in apparel, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with strong MS Excel skills and excellent time management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• A qualification in Fashion Design, Clothing Production or Clothing Management.
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within a clothing environment.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Solid MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• A team-focused, accountable and reliable approach.
• The ability to adapt and consistently deliver in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Create on-trend, commercially appealing graphics for a variety of clothing ranges.
• Research and interpret current fashion trends relevant to our customers.
• Prepare, manage and finalise artwork for production.
• Assist with production-related administration and coordination.
• Manage multiple design projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure designs remain aligned with the brand identity and clothing ranges.
