Placements24 is seeking a Senior Organizational Design Consultant to assist clients in Soweto and surrounding Gauteng areas. You will diagnose issues, design optimal structures, and lead change initiatives working with senior leaders to improve performance and employee engagement.

The role requires strong theory, change management, and HR competencies, with proven analytical and communication skills. On-site collaboration with clients is expected for successful delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in organizational design or related field.
• Strong diagnostic and design experience for organizational structures.
• Solid grounding in organizational theory, change management, and HR.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with HR analytics and org charting tools is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, HR, or Psychology; Master's preferred.
• Willing to work on-site in Soweto, Gauteng and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Our client, a highly respected management consultancy, is seeking a Senior Organizational Design Consultant to join their dedicated team serving clients in the Soweto, Gauteng region. This role focuses on helping organizations optimize their structure, processes, and roles to enhance performance, agility, and employee engagement. You will work closely with senior leaders to diagnose current organizational challenges, design effective structures, and implement changes that align with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of organizational theory, change management principles, and human capital strategies, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills. This is a critical position for driving impactful organizational transformation and fostering a more effective work environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess current organizational structures, workflows, and role designs to identify areas for improvement.
• Design and develop optimal organizational structures that support strategic goals and enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop detailed plans for implementing organizational changes, including communication, training, and change management activities.
• Advise clients on job design, competency frameworks, and performance management systems.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather input and build consensus on organizational design recommendations.
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure alignment between organizational design and talent management strategies.
• Support clients in the implementation of new organizational designs and monitor their effectiveness.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in organizational design, organizational development, HR consulting, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing organizational issues and designing effective structural solutions.
• Strong understanding of organizational theory, change management, and human resources principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency in organizational charting tools and HR analytics is beneficial.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
