Hollywoodbets in Durban seeks an accomplished Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to lead a complex supply chain across procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution. You will optimize costs, implement strategies, and build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.

You will manage a team, develop metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement through technology and data-driven decisions in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM/Logistics or related field.
• 7+ years in logistics and supply chain with managerial experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG and global logistics.
• Strong negotiation, analytics and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics partners to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize holding costs and stock-outs.
• Develop and maintain accurate supply chain performance metrics and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, customs procedures, and trade laws.
• Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Identify and implement technological solutions to enhance supply chain visibility and management.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a significant portion in a managerial capacity.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of global logistics, warehousing, and transportation management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with hybrid work environments and coordinating distributed teams is advantageous.
