Placements24 is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end SCM for our Durban operations. You will drive procurement, warehousing, and distribution, improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness while aligning with safety and quality standards.

You will lead a team, optimize processes, implement SCM software, and manage the budget. This role requires 7+ years in FMCG SCM, with strong leadership and vendor management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management within FMCG.
• Proven experience in warehousing, logistics and inventory operations.
• Strong knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all supply chain elements: procurement, warehousing, inventory, distribution.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, cut costs and speeds delivery.
• Lead supplier, logistics, and partner relationships.

Requirements
