Placements24 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, seeks an accomplished Head of Supply Chain & Logistics to shape the end-to-end supply chain strategy. This executive role drives sourcing, planning, warehousing, transportation, and international trade, delivering value through efficiency and cost reduction.

You will lead a high-performing team, collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance, and implement advanced SCM technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain and logistics management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex global supply chains and delivering significant cost reductions and efficiency gains.
• Extensive knowledge of procurement, transportation management, warehousing, inventory control, and international trade.
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning tools and ERP/SCM software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with Durban port and logistics hub is advantageous.
