About the Role

Our client, a leading mining group with significant operations in the region, is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Open Pit Mine Manager to oversee their flagship open pit operation near Polokwane, Limpopo. The Mine Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and management of all mining activities, ensuring targets for safety, production, cost, and quality are met or exceeded. Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in open pit mining operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale open pit operations and teams.
• In-depth knowledge of open pit mining methods, equipment, and technologies.
• Strong understanding of mine planning, scheduling, and optimization principles.
