About our client..
Our client is a media owner specialising in out-of-home advertising, with inventory spanning roadside large-format sites, lifestyle precincts and malls, and airport and business-class lounge signage. Unlike a broker, they secure their own landlord deals and sell that inventory exclusively, positioning themselves as a strategic, consultative partner rather than a commodity billboard seller. They're now looking for an OOH Sales Manager to grow their footprint across Gauteng.
Why you'd want to work here:
Small, hands-on team where leadership is genuinely close to the day-to-day Real ownership over your patch, your pipeline and how you build it Strong on-target earning potential, with guaranteed commission possible while you ramp up Clear targets paired with a genuine emphasis on having fun along the way Flexibility to structure your own benefits package around what suits you Work across some of the most visible advertising real estate in the country
What the job involves:
Selling across both out-of-home (roadside, malls and precincts) and business-class inventory (airports and lounges) Cold-calling to develop new business, alongside account-managing existing clients Building and presenting multi-channel strategies (static, digital and activations), not just quoting a single board Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across media agencies and direct clients Negotiating and closing deals through complex, multi-stage sales cycles Conducting a minimum of 8 sales meetings per week (in-person, Teams or Zoom) Preparing and sending client proposals Maintaining a strong presence with key creative agencies Reporting weekly on activity, pipeline and upcoming opportunities Entertaining clients regularly, including occasional after-hours engagements Staying on top of industry news, competitor activity and market movements Managing the admin side of bookings, including contracts and paperwork, with support from internal teams
