About the Role

Our client is a premier energy company operating on a fully remote-first model, seeking an experienced Senior Offshore Installation Engineer. This role is central to the successful planning and execution of offshore energy project installations. You will be responsible for managing the logistics, coordination, and technical oversight of complex installation campaigns, ensuring safety and efficiency. Working remotely from anywhere in South Africa, you will play a key role in delivering major projects and contributing to the growth of the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed installation procedures and methodologies for offshore structures, pipelines, and equipment.
• Plan and manage offshore execution activities, including vessel scheduling, resource allocation, and operational readiness.
• Oversee the safe and efficient installation of subsea systems, topsides, and other offshore components.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for offshore installation activities.
• Liaise with fabrication yards, marine contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor offshore progress and performance, reporting on key metrics and addressing any deviations.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
