Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in nursing that allows registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse (R425).
• Minimum of 7 years experience in nursing after registration as a general Professional Nurse with SANC.
• One year post-basic qualification in Nursing Administration.
• A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
• Registration certificate and proof of current SANC receipt.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the provision of optimal, holistic nursing care with set standards.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills; understand HR, disciplinary procedures, and financial management policies.
• Manage material, human, and financial resources; ensure implementation of quality nursing standards.
• Provide professional, technical, and management support for quality patient care through nursing care programs.
• Coordinate CPD for nurses and midwives; participate in health information policy and monthly statistics.
