Job summary

NTT DATA in Johannesburg is seeking a Principal Networking Client Partner to lead the sale of managed services and cloud-enabled networking solutions.

You will build executive relationships, guide service design, model commercial terms, and drive multi-year renewals while balancing technology and business outcomes.

Work closely with internal teams to align client outcomes with technical delivery, ensuring profitable growth and top-tier client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of network security principles and products.
• Proficiency in positioning service offerings across cloud, managed services, support and consulting.
• Thorough knowledge of networking in a cloud environment.
• Insight into servers, storage, virtualization, and data centers.
• Strong grasp of financial statements and metrics for client discussions.
• Proven track record selling managed services to large enterprise accounts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close managed service and outsourcing deals.
• Guide clients through cloud-managed services and engage with decision-makers to close opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients at various levels and with internal teams.
• Drive the sales process, manage a pipeline of opportunities, and meet sales targets.
• Balance technology requirements with business outcomes to convert clients into long-term partners.
