Placements24 is assisting a prominent multinational client in East London to recruit a Senior Network Security Engineer. You will design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade network security solutions to safeguard data and systems.

In this hybrid role, you will monitor threats, respond to incidents, and collaborate with IT teams to embed security across operations while staying current with the latest threats and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in network security engineering or similar.
• Experience designing and managing enterprise security solutions.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and manage network security infrastructure (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAFs).
• Monitor security logs, analyze alerts, and respond to incidents.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Maintain security configurations for devices, servers, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security across operations.
• Stay updated on threats and technologies; troubleshoot issues.
• Deliver security awareness training to employees.
• Participate in security architecture reviews and provide recommendations.
