Job summary

NTT Data in Johannesburg is seeking a Network Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operation, performance, availability, and documentation of our network infrastructure across sites. You will ensure stable and secure services to support business operations.

The role focuses on WAN/LAN, routers and switches, firewall and VPN management, documentation, and collaboration with vendors and service providers to meet SLAs and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Matric and a national IT diploma or degree are required.
• Professional networking certifications (CCNP, Network+) are preferred.
• Certifications in Fortinet or Palo Alto firewalls are advantageous.
• ITIL Foundation is an asset for service management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration of network infrastructure across sites.
• Manage routers, switches, wireless, WAN/LAN, DMZ, VPN, and firewall services.
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, and SOPs for networks.
• Coordinate with partners for incident resolution, upgrades, and changes.
• Monitor performance, ensure SLAs, and drive improvements.
