Job summary

The government entity in Cape Town, South Africa is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, build and deploy customised applications within an agile team. You will translate requirements from specification to working software and contribute across the SDLC/ALM processes.

You will develop programs from specifications, ensure proper documentation, and contribute to eLearning solutions to train users and improve adoption of delivered systems.

Qualifications

• Experience building customised applications in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency with ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC and C#.
• Experience with SQL Server and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Translate user requirements into design and development of customised applications.
• Design, develop and deploy from program specifications.
• Construct and implement application programs.
• Code, test and debug programs.
• Document code and classes.
• Coordinate application plans with the development team or government entity.
• Adhere to SDLC and ALM methodologies and processes.
• Design, develop and deploy eLearning solutions to meet needs and provide training and support.
