Job summary

Boardroom Appointments in Cape Town is seeking a senior software development professional to own the complete SDLC for new products. You will design, develop, test, document, deploy, and support systems in line with standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The role requires a IT-related degree, Matric, and 8+ years in software development, including .NET, SOA, Agile, CI/CD, and AWS experience.

Qualifications

In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proficiency in application development methodologies and practices.
Comprehensive knowledge of software testing practices.

Responsibilities

Participate in a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle from conception to deployment of each new product.
Design, develop, test, document, deploy, and support new and existing systems and software applications in accordance with agreed standards.
Explain code changes to Business Analysts and stakeholders, and develop reusable code and libraries for future use.
Test code and develop automated testing scripts and procedures; conduct capacity planning and performance tests.
Provide system support, troubleshooting, and uptime, and engage with Product Owners and project sponsors for scope and progress.
