Job summary

RMB is seeking a Senior Murex Integration Engineer in Johannesburg. You will design, build and support Murex MX.3 interfaces, including MxML workflows and API integrations, ensuring reliable day-to-day operation of critical interfaces across trade lifecycle.

You will work with SQL data, logs and transformations while collaborating with business and tech teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions. The role requires hands-on experience in Murex integration tools, scripting and production

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or financial discipline.
5+ years’ experience with Murex MX.3 in integration/engineering roles.
3+ years hands-on in Murex integration components and interfaces.
Strong SQL skills for data analysis, reconciliation and troubleshooting.
Experience with XML/JSON, Unix/Linux, and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, enhance and maintain Murex MX.3 integration solutions.
Build and support inbound and outbound interfaces between Murex and upstream/downstream systems.
Develop and support MxML import/export workflows using MxML Exchange and related components.
Provide production support, monitoring, troubleshooting and incident response for Murex interfaces.
Improve monitoring, logging and automation to ensure stable interfaces.
