Job summary

Wesbank in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior Murex Integration Engineer to design, develop and maintain Murex MX.3 integration solutions. You will ensure reliable inbound/outbound interfaces with upstream/downstream systems, including trade feeds, market data, confirmations and settlements.

Role requires hands-on experience with Murex components, strong SQL and scripting skills, and ability to troubleshoot production interfaces in a financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years’ experience with Murex MX.3 in a technical/integration role.
• 3+ years hands-on with Murex integration components (MxML Exchange, Connectivity 2.0, MxML workflows, MxOpenConnect, Murex APIs).
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, reconciliation and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting production interfaces in financial/enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Murex MX.3 integration solutions.
• Provide production support for critical Murex interfaces.
• Monitor interface execution, data delivery, and incident resolution.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Participate in testing, release management and configuration control.
