Job summary

RMB Nigeria Limited is seeking a Senior Murex Integration Engineer in Johannesburg to design, build and support robust Murex MX.3 interfaces. You will work with MxML Exchange, Connectivity 2.0, MxOpenConnect and APIs to enable reliable data flows across trade lifecycle, market data and settlements.

The role requires hands-on integration design, development and production support in a fast-paced environment, with strong SQL, XML/JSON skills and experience with batch or API-based patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Murex MX.3 in a technical/integration/engineering role.
• 3+ years hands-on with Murex integration components and interfaces.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, reconciliation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with XML, JSON and related data formats.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and maintain Murex MX.3 integration solutions.
• Build and support inbound/outbound interfaces between Murex and upstream/downstream systems.
• Develop and support MxML import/export workflows and related integration components.
• Provide production support, monitoring, troubleshooting and issue resolution for Murex interfaces.
• Participate in testing, release management and continuous improvement of integration services.
