Job summary

Construct Executive Search is seeking a Senior Mining Project Manager to oversee large concentrator/mineral processing plant projects in Africa, with base in South Africa and international travel.

The candidate should have 15+ years mining project experience, at least 5 years in project management, and degrees in engineering. PMP/PRINCE2 and ECSA registration are advantageous; extensive EPCM and multidisciplinary team leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years mining project experience, with 5+ years in project management roles.
• Proven experience delivering large concentrator or mineral processing plant projects.
• Extensive EPCM project delivery experience.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong construction, commissioning and operational readiness experience.
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
• Extensive travel to the Project site in Zimbabwe will be required.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Chemical or Mining Engineering

Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent)

Professional registration with ECSA or an equivalent professional body
