Job summary

Marvel Placement Consultant is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead multidisciplinary teams on mining and mineral processing projects in Gauteng. You will drive studies from concept through pre-feasibility and feasibility, and oversee detailed design and project execution.

The role requires a strong track record in managing scope, budgets, schedules and risks, plus leading stakeholders across engineering disciplines and contractors to successful project handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required; professional registration is advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mining, EPCM or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing scope, budget and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in delivering mining and mineral processing projects.
• Oversee studies from concept through feasibility, detailed design and project execution.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, piping and instrumentation disciplines.
