Job summary

Recruitify_HR seeks a seasoned Mining Project Manager to lead large concentrator or mineral processing plant projects in South Africa. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and oversee EPCM delivery, ensuring construction and commissioning readiness.

The 12‑month fixed-term contract requires extensive international travel, including Zimbabwe, with a valid passport. Candidates must have 15+ years in mining projects, 5+ in leadership, and proven delivery of major mining initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Chemical or Mining Engineering.
• Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) would be advantageous.
• Professional registration with ECSA or an equivalent professional body would be highly advantageous.
• At least 15 years of mining project experience, with 5+ years in project management roles.
• Proven experience delivering large concentrator or mineral processing plant projects.
• Extensive EPCM project delivery experience.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong construction, commissioning and operational readiness experience.
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
• Extensive travel to the Project site in Zimbabwe will be required.
