Placements24 is seeking an experienced Mine Survey Manager to lead surveying operations in Soweto, Gauteng. You will manage a team of surveyors, oversee equipment, and ensure compliance with surveying standards for surface and underground mining.

You will establish precise control networks, coordinate data collection, and collaborate with planning, geology and engineering to provide essential spatial data for mine development, production and safety.

Competenze

• 6+ years of experience in mine surveying, with supervisory exposure.
• Professional registration with a relevant body (e.g., PLATO).
• On-site work in Soweto, Gauteng; strong leadership and communication skills.

• Manage and coordinate all mine surveying activities, including surface and underground surveys.
• Establish and maintain precise control networks for mine planning, development and production.
• Oversee the collection and processing of survey data using advanced equipment and software.
